Tubing In Virginia
“Tubing In Virginia is one of the more fun and relaxing family and/or friend oriented summer outdoor activity. I highly recommend going River Tubing, bring some drinks and snacks and some good company. If you live in the D.C. Metropolitan area or Northern Virginia, like Loudoun County or Fairfax County then I recommend going summer River Tubing with Virginia River Trips. Virginia River Trips is located in Scenic Clarke County only 1 Hour from downtown D.C. They take people on one of the most scenic sections of the Shenandoah River. I did not see any houses or sub divisions on my lazy float down the river. Clarke County is a very rural section of Virginia. I rented a cooler tube from them for our group and I relaxed with some nice cool drinks. There was one section of rapids that was fun and was kid friendly.”

I agree, we went River Tubing with Virginia River Trips last year and had a great time. Pretty nice, we met at Virginia River Trips home base and they supplied us with the gear and took us to the Shenandoah River. They even took us again at no extra charge because I didn’t know this but they offer “unlimited” daily tubing trips. Very nice.
I understand Virginia River Trips also does Canoeing, Kayaking, and Rafting on The Shenandoah River … and I believe some nice “free” cookouts for group trips. I think it is considered a membership trip and your group gets a outdoor cookout for when you get back from you River Trip … if I am not wrong, I believe it is a steak and chicken cookout. Can’t beat that …
